I’m around my computer more this week (not teaching, no holidays) and realizing that I click refresh on the same handful of sites (Metsblog) to get nothing new again and again (the Mets are still not signing any Cuban defector pitchers) but miss lots of stuff, especially on friends’ websites that are not updated often. So I decided to go ahead and set up Google Reader. Also, I never follow Twitter feeds, but my friend Mark’s feed made me change my mind about that. You can add those to your Reader too; so I don’t actually have to go to the Twitter site. This was a smart move on my part – get my info in one place. But-just to make sure that I’m not missing anything good-please tell me which blogs, sites, podcasts, Twitter feeds, you think must be followed.  Thank you for your help keeping me informed.

Justin Sirois’s MLKNG SCKLS is going into a second printing from Publishing Genius. And you should buy it.

If you already have a first edition, then you should still buy it, because it now comes with this amazing cover drawn by Conner Willumsen. Clearly a worthwhile objet for shelf, desk, or table.

There is one compelling reason not to buy it. I’ve got a house with a lot of white walls and I would really love to win the artwork and the more people who pre-order, the less of a chance I have to win it. I was seriously tempted not to post this for that reason, but I like Justin and believe in what he’s doing – so go and buy MLKNG SCKLS (fancy cover edition).
